VanHorn Ranch, owned and operated by Buck and Della VanHorn is

located 20 mile NE of Circle, Montana. We run a cow/calf

operation with a cow herd of angus/saler breeding. The home place

is nestled along a dry wooded creek, providing both protection

and beauty. We sell aprox. 100 steers and 70 heifers in the fall.

The '01 calf crop will hit the ground in March, feel free to bid

at any time for them, historically they will be sold by mid-June.

By a mid to late Oct. shipping the steers will weigh 600 lbs and

the heifers 575. Some packer data is available.

The <a href="ranch.html">ranch</a> also participates in the <a

href="http://fwp.state.mt.us/">Montana Fish and Games Block

Management Program</a>. This allows bird and big game ( antelope,

mule and whitetail deer ) <a href="fifth.html">hunters</a> the

opportunity to have a more dependable hunting experience. We

limit hunting by taking reservation for specific dates. By Block

Management rules your reservations can not be taken before Aug.

15th.

The <a href="family2.html">VanHorns</a> are conservative

Christians, believing that the <a href="third.html">Bible is the

inerrant word of God</a>. We are also strong advocates of <a

href="forth.html">traditional education.</a>

We are very fortunate to know two excellent artists Maureen

Curtiss a painter and <a

href="http://www.midrivers.com/~wccsjens">Wes Jensen</a> a

sculptor. Both of these artist do western and wildlife work.

municpalities ranging in the population range of 100 to 12,000.
