*Heidi is an obvious choice to lead off the mare page, since she was the
beginning of this dream coming true. She was the first curly
owned by us, purchased as a weanling, and is the first horse in line for hay or anything else Heidi thinks she might want.
She's a bay tobiano born April 2002 to Susie, an unregistered Paint mare, by *Prairie Paint ABC 2616.
She has been started under saddle and would be considered green broke.
Although she is very bossy, under saddle she is willing and tries to please, as well as being pretty unreactive to scary, startling events.
I didn't breed her to foal in 2008, because I want to put alot of time in the saddle on her this year. She's another curly that seems to really
enjoy working cattle.
Her 2007 curly filly *Willow by Wyoming Free Spirit ABC 3065 is friendly, curious and is for sale.
*Breeze is a 13.2 tobiano pony brought to our kids by Santa in 2004. Santa couldn't have brought
a finer gift. She is the most loved horse on the ranch, and cause of many disputes over who gets
to ride her first. Carly would never sit in a stroller long, so Breeze became the stroller and after a 2 mile trek, Carly still
wouldn't want to get off. She has tolerated the roughness of small kids' steering and has seen Wyatt go from a very tentative, scared rider to
her master with whom she enjoys racing across the pasture. She was Wyatt's 4-H mount summer 2007, and has been to 2 Bucking Horse Sale parades.
Her company, tolerance and wisdom are priceless.
