John and Kathryn Pfister both born and raised in Montana have a fond love for horses, good cattle and dogs. The outdoors have been a major part of their life and culture. Hunting trips and camping to horse shows and now cowboy mounted shooting have been the mainstay in the Pfister family.

Artistic and visual both John and Kathryn have joys in videography, leather craft, art projects and photography. A natural eye for great shots is in every photo and project they do.
The Pfisters raised their three daughters with all the gifts, values and morals that the Big Sky Country has to offer. The legacy continues today in each one of their girls and now the grandchildren. A love for the land and livestock follows each one as they raise their new families.
Both John and Kathryn were part of the Western College Rodeo Team. It is here that they met and later married. Jobs have allowed them to enjoy Montana and its solid agricultural background. Hard work and honesty are no strangers to this couple as they have worked hard in all that they do- ranching, climbing poles, training colts, breeding/ showing quarter horses, shoeing, teaching and now working in Roundup, Montana with MSU Extension and Musselshell County as the Superintendent of Schools.
Since 2005 John and Kathryn have been chasing the Cowboy Mounted Shooting scene where they enjoy the thrill of competition and fun of shooting high quality photographs. You will see them with their red tri Australian Shepherd (Skeeter Bug), camera and big solid shooting gelding (Buddy) enjoying all the sights and fun that their new found hobby has to offer. Soon you will see the shining palomino filly Lady with them - a big mare with the kindness and presence to steal any heart away.
