| Garfield County 4-H is comprised of 5
independent clubs located throughout the county. Members of
the clubs meet on a regular schedule to decide the direction of the
club, the community activities they will be involved in and to
assist members with individual projects. Garfield County clubs
range in membership from 5 to 15 members plus volunteer leaders.
Throughout the course of the year, 4-H members will participate in club, local, regional, state and national activities. The highlight of the 4-H year is displaying their talents at the Garfield County Fair. Livestock and indoor projects are all displayed during the 3 day event.

Garfield County 4-H Shooting Sports
Eleven 4H Shooting Sports members traveled to Bozeman on February 28, 2003 to participate in the Eighth Annual Montana State Shooting Competition. They were chaperoned by Eric Miller, Agent and instructor, Steve Downs, instructor and family members.
March 1 dawned early so competitors could be at the Fairgrounds for the early start of competition. Members shot several different matches through out the day including a 30 shot 3P, a 40 shot Sporter Standing, and a 60 shot Junior Olympic 3P. All members did very well. Several members shot personal bests at the Bozeman Match. There were The results of the State Match at Bozeman are as follows:
