 I hope your senior year is going well, and you are enjoying every minute! To add to your list of many thing to do, I wanted to make sure you are aware of the scholarships you can apply for through 4-H.

Open Box Ranch - Local Fergus/Petroleum County Scholarship

Application Deadline- April 1

Award- One $250 scholarship for any accredited college, university or vocational technical school. Paid after the student has successfully completed Fall semester/quarter.

Eligibility-2012 graduating senior, from Fergus or Petroleum County , with an Ag Background, currently enrolled in 4-H, and has been a member for at least the last 3 years.

 

4-H Leaders Council - Local Fergus/Petroleum County Scholarship

Application Deadline- April 1

Award- Four $200 scholarships for any accredited college, university or vocational technical school. Paid after the student has successfully completed Fall semester/quarter.

Eligibility- any graduating senior currently enrolled in 4-H in Fergus or Petroleum County, or any 4-H alumni who was enrolled in these counties with in the last 4 years. Applicants must have been in 4-H for a minimum of four years.

 

Montana State 4-H Foundation- numerous scholarships are available, due April 1 to the 4-H Foundation in Bozeman . The forms are available on their web site at http://www.montana4h.org/, click on Programs, Grants & Scholarships and then Montana 4-H Foundation Scholarships. I also have hard copies at the office.  

 

Other Scholarships

Montana Farm Bureau- If your parents are members you are eligible to apply for two scholarships with them, both due April 1.
