Newt is a 78 pound black male. He will be competing in hunt tests and possibly field trials this year. We plan to use him as a stud after he is titled and cleared by OFA and CERF. Newt is currently training with Kris Hunt of Blacktail Labradors.

Newt received his Junior Hunter Title (going 4 for 4) on June 6, 2008 at the Western Montana Retriever Club's hunt test handled by Kris Hunt.

Newt recieved a Derby JAM September 27, 2008 at the Snake River Retriever Trial Club Fall Field Trial handled by Kris Hunt.
