Official rules:

The Glendive Coin Challenge officially begins on June 26th , 2010. Coin Challenge will last as long as there are coins. Requirements for the coin challenge are as follows: Go to Glendive Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture or Makoshika State Park visitor center to receive your coin challenge sheet. The sheet will have the waypoint code of each cache and a blank spot to write down the password. There are eight caches placed for this event. There will be a password in each cache you must record on your challenge sheet. After finding all eight caches, return to Chamber of Commerce or visitor center to receive your free geocoin.

The coin challenge sheet will be available Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Glendive chamber of commerce and agriculture. They are closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch and on weekends. Also available at the Makoshika State Park visitor center 10:00am to 6:00pm seven days a week.

The caches will have car items in them and some caches are near bridges. One of the car caches is a letterbox/hybrid, so do not forget to bring a stamp if you got one! Please place the contents of all caches back inside containers and place back where you found it.

On September 12, 2010 will be the final day of the event. The badlands geocaching group will host an event in conjunction with Bell Street Bridge Days to celebrate the end of the challenge. All that come to this event will receive a free badlands geocaching group pathtag. So this summer you have the chance to get a coin and pathtag free, just for caching and visiting Glendive.

Please limit one coin per username so that there are plenty of coins to go around. There are 100 available at the beginning of the event. These coins are trackable through geocaching.com. Please follow all guidelines for caching as outlined on geocaching.com. Above all, please enjoy your time in Glendive and have a great time caching!!!
