In January
2009 Big Sky Shires & Equine Services traveled to Colorado State University to
take their courses in Shipped Cooled Semen and Reproductive Management &
Artificial Insemination. By the end of a week of classes Leanne gained
certificates and knowledge to perform on farm AI and ship cooled semen. We still
work closely with our local veterinarian. This relationship allows us to provide
some of the best services in breeding with sound diagnostics. Any mare or stallion that comes to us is handled as if they were our own. We communicate with the owner to make sure all concerns and basis are covered. If we feel, or you feel that we need to take the next step in your horse's reproductive management we immediately get in touch with the vet of your choice or use our local reproductive specialist. Our goal when we became certified in breeding management was to offer on farm AI to our Shire stallion "Doc" so that people with light mares did not have to live cover. We also thought that shipping cooled semen would allow us to share our stallion with many people. We pride ourselves on a quality product. We have worked hard to put in the best equipment and lab that we can. This allows us to produce the best products we can for our breeding clients. Click on Each Link Below to see Details:
