12:15 am - Leksie is getting her meds thru the left arm IV.
3:30 am - She drank the whole 75 cc's thru the bottle, made a few peeps and went to sleep.
6:20 am - She woke up and was given potassium thru the mouth (she didn't like it). She was a wake for awhile and made a few peeps and talked to us, looked at her teddy bear and then we had to go (we were not allowed in ICU between 7 am and 8 am and 7 pm and 8 pm, during shift changes because they talk about the patients and they don't won't us to hear that stuff).
8:30 am - She finally took a crap after a week wait.
9:00 am - Grandpa and I got to hold her and feed her. She does have her discharge papers from ICU to go to the 3 rd floor to Intermediate Care Unit, we're just waiting on a bed, but hopefully by noon.
10:00 am - Grandpa and I gave Leksie a good old spit bath and fed her again. I saw her first smile, it lasted about 50 seconds then she was tired and dosed off. All she has now is the nose oxygen, one IV in the left hand and the toe cap.
10:55 am - We received notice that there are no beds upstairs and there is more surgery kids coming in so we may have to move across the hall into a another room called the "swing beds". Good news I guess. Logan told Leksie to get better so he can go home and play with his own Beep Beeps ("trucks").
11:10 am - Dyke opened a coke and Leksie's eyes lit up and she spit out her binky and acted like she wanted some.
1:00 pm - Logan wanted to feed Leksie a bottle but she was upset and so he can try again next time. He doesn't like to hang around when she is fussing
2:30 pm - Sorry it took me so long to update but we have been waiting to move across the hall since 8 this morning. We are now across the hall waiting for a room on the 3rd floor. We're in a room called the "Swing Unit", its part of the newborn center. Jenny is are knew nurse. The best news for Misti is that she can use Leksie as the milk machine now instead of the machine.
11:30 pm - Leksie has been awake since 2:30 pm, she is very crabby. We finally got her to sleep with a sedative.
