Friday
3:00 am - Leksie's been doing well but Misti is trying to sleep next to her bed and there are two other breast fed babies in the room and their mothers left at 8:00 pm, and aren't coming back until the morning, so they have been crying all night.
8:15 am - The Dr. took out Leksie's stitches where they removed the chest tubes. She cried a little but not much.
9:00 am - Jaynee and Dale took Logan to the zoo and the zoo was closed until 10:00 am . Jaynee is going to kill me, but she also tried to carry on a conversation with a deaf girl in the elevator, until finally a handicapped kid had to tell her that she couldn't hear her, that the girl is deaf.
9:30 am - LEKSIE IS DISCHARGED!! We have to stick around until Monday for an appointment here in Denver, then maybe fly out later that day for an appointment in Billings with Dr. Wiggens. Depending on how late it is we will either come home that night or on Tuesday.
We would
like to thank everyone who kept up with her progress, printed off
sheets for everyone without internet access to read, prayed,
donated, and everyone else that helped in any way. We are truly
thankful to all of you, the Dr.'s couldn't believe how fast she
recovered and how well she did, she couldn't have done it without
all of you and your prayers.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR "HEARTS".
