Available Reading Programs

Fallon County Library offers three programs intended to introduce books and reading to a wide audience comprised of pre-school children, young children and adults. Pre-registration is not required for any one of the programs; attendance is at your pleasure.  Please direct all questions to a member of the Library staff.

Story Time

Pre-school children meet at 11:15 on Thursdays from mid-September through mid-May.  Stories are read to the children.  Activites introducing and strenthening basic skills are offered; holiday craft projects are completed by the participants.

Coffee and Books

Our book discussion group is made available through a grant from the Montana Committee for the Humanities.  The group meets from September through April on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Baker Senior Center. Discussions are led by Rose Marie Aus.

Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program begins June 1 of each year and continues through July.  Books, games, arts and crafts are all a part of each year's theme, which is selected by the Montana State Library.
