Candidates should have excellent communications and organizational skills, computer skills, a stable work history and the desire to work in a team environment. Must be able to obtain a valid Montana Driver’s License and a Commercial Driver’s License for the operation of heavy trucks and commercial vehicles or equipment.
Position requires that individual must live close enough to reporting location so that individual is able to respond to emergencies promptly.
COE ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR - GLENDIVE, MT
Supervises and performs engineering services on central office, transmission, broadband data, video and mobile and fixed wireless telecommunications facilities.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering or other relevant field is highly desireable but not required. Minimum requirement is an Associated Technical Degree or five (5) years related work experience. Three (3) years in a telecommunications supervisory capacity is preferred. Specialized training and experience in telecommunications may be substituted for education. Experience in a cooperative or non-profit setting are helpful. Computer and drafting skills are manditory.
COE ENGINEER - GLENDIVE, MT
COE ENGINEER – GLENDIVE, MT (1 POSITION):
Two years of telecommunications experience relating to the provision of central office, transmission and broadband data facilities. Associate/Bachelor Degree in related field is preferred but not required. Engineering design and specifications for central office, transmission associated facilities with primary emphasis on data network engineering experience is preferred but not required. The design and coordination of CATV 2-way RF and headend design. The design and coordination of cellular and wireless. Computer skills are required.
