Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative members met at the Eastern Plains Events Center in Glendive on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, for Mid-Rivers 56th Annual Meeting to elect three members to the cooperative's board of trustees and to conduct other cooperative business. Trustees re-elected to three-year terms were Rob Reukauf, District 7; Kevin Braun, District 8; and Alan Sevier, District 9.
Mid-Rivers General Manager Gerry Anderson presented the cooperative’s financial and operations reports. Lunch was served by the Gateway Cow Belles.
Mid-Rivers members attending the annual meeting received an attendance gift and were also eligible for numerous door prizes that were given away.
In the board of trustees’ organizational meeting held after the annual meeting, Nick Murnion was re-elected as Mid-Rivers president, Rob Reukauf was re-elected as vice president and Gene Engen was re-elected as secretary/treasurer. Craig Johnson was re-elected as president of Mid-Rivers’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Cable & Communications Corporation (C&CC), Alan Sevier was re-elected as C&CC vice president and Mark Tombre was re-elected as C&CC secretary/treasurer.
