Community Channels

The cable television line-up includes a Mid-Rivers Community Channel in 18 towns in Central and Eastern Montana. This channel displays information about upcoming community events, school functions, fund-raisers for community projects, church functions, sports schedules, and school lunch menus. These ads are aired at no charge. Commercial ads, political ads, "Happy" ads (birthday, anniversary, etc), and scrolling ads can also be run on the community channels.

The Community Channel runs several weather pages that display humidity, high and low temperatures, dew point, precipitation, wind speed and wind chill amounts. Ads on the Community Channel show seven-days-a-week. Ads appear once every 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of ads on each Community Channel.

Upon request, local schools and governments can run video tapes once a day on this channel at no cost. If you are interested in arranging to air tapes on your local community channel, please e-mail mrcom@midrivers.com, or call Mid-Rivers at 1-800-452-2288.

  • Wibaux - 96.5 FM, KDZN, Glendive
